Sui Climbs Past $1: A Staircase Rally in September 2026

From a $0.673 low on September 15, 2026 to a $1.295 high on the 27th: Sui gained more than 90% in twelve days, with three big up-sessions and the psychological $1 mark cleared halfway through.

Sui is a layer-1 blockchain designed for fast, parallel transaction processing. In the first half of September 2026 its token had done little: after a high of $0.845 on September 7 it slid back, touching a low of $0.673 on the 15th, below where it had begun the month.

The recovery came in steps. On September 18 SUI gained 9.9% on nearly double its usual volume, then added two more green days. The decisive session was the 21st: up 16.2% to $1.0427 on $236.7 million of volume, the most of the month, and the window's first close above $1. On the 23rd price came back to test that line, dipping to $0.932, but recovered quickly, and on the 25th another 17.8% surge took it to $1.195. The top came on September 27 at $1.2947.

On September 28 SUI lost 7.6% on $207 million of volume, on a day when many altcoins fell together, and it ended the month at $1.164: up 60% for September but about 10% below the peak. On the hourly chart, watch how price behaves around $1. Round numbers attract orders, and the way SUI broke that level, retested it and then left it behind is a clean example of resistance turning into support.
