Orca's Three-Day Run: +77% on Rising Volume, Then a Wobble (October 2026)

Solana exchange token ORCA rose 11%, 20% and 32% on three consecutive days in October 2026, from $1.80 to $3.19, its highest close since May 2025. Relive how a rally builds on rising volume, hour by hour.

Orca operates one of the main decentralized exchanges on Solana, where users swap tokens directly from their wallets. Its ORCA token hit a 2026 low of $0.65 in February, had a spring rally that peaked near $2.42 in May, and then drifted back to the $1.10-$1.30 range through the summer. By early October it had recovered to about $1.80 on modest volume.

The run started on the evening of October 4, when ORCA jumped 8.1% in a two-hour window to touch $2.117 on $4.8 million of volume — more than its entire typical day. It closed at $2.009, up 11.4%. October 5 opened with a spike to $2.219 that faded, a quiet European session around $1.98-$2.04, and then a strong US evening: +10.9% in the 18:00-20:00 UTC window and +7.3% in the 22:00-00:00 UTC window, for a close of $2.415, up 20.2%.

October 6 was the biggest day. ORCA climbed through the morning to $2.75 and, in the 16:00-18:00 UTC window, jumped 18.8% to $3.154 on $8.2 million of volume. The next two hours took back 10.4%, but buyers returned in the evening and ORCA closed at $3.194, up 32.3%, on $45.1 million of volume, about 17 times its 30-day average. The intraday high of $3.32 was its highest price since April 2025.

Notice the structure: each day's volume was larger than the one before ($7.2 million, $13.7 million, $45.1 million), and each pullback stopped above the previous breakout level. That's what distinguishes a building trend from a one-candle spike. Watch the end of the replay as well: early on October 7, ORCA briefly touched $3.335 and then slipped to about $2.85, its first meaningful pullback of the run.
