Notcoin's Post-Dip Rally (Late Spring 2024)

After an initial post-launch dip, Notcoin's NOT token rallied roughly 363% over ten days as the Telegram-based game's viral user base translated into real trading demand.

Notcoin began as a simple tap-to-earn game built directly inside Telegram, where users accumulated in-game currency by tapping a coin on their screen — a mechanic that turned out to be extraordinarily viral, reportedly reaching tens of millions of players before the project ever launched an actual token. It launched its NOT token on May 16, 2024.

Like most large token launches, the opening was chaotic: NOT's earliest trades ranged from a fraction of a cent up to $0.037 against a starting reference near $0.0008, before settling into single-digit-fraction-of-a-cent territory over the following week as the initial spike faded and the token drifted to a low near $0.0045 by May 23.

From that low, NOT rallied steadily over the following ten days, closing near $0.0226 by June 2 — a gain of roughly 363% — as trading volume and attention picked up, plausibly connected to Notcoin's enormous existing user base from the Telegram game translating into genuine trading interest once the token had time to find its footing after the initial listing chaos settled.

The sequence here — chaotic launch, an initial post-launch low, then a genuine multi-day rally from that low rather than a continued decline — is a useful third pattern alongside the more common "spike then decline" and the less common "spike then continued rally" already covered elsewhere in this collection: sometimes a token's real trading range only starts to form after the market has fully worked through the initial launch chaos in both directions.
