Ethena's Two-Leg September Rally (2026)

From $0.136 in mid-September 2026 to a $0.295 high twelve days later: Ethena more than doubled in two bursts separated by a pause, and finished the quarter up roughly 266%.

Ethena is the protocol behind USDe, a "synthetic dollar" that holds its value by pairing crypto holdings with short derivatives positions, and ENA is its token. In the first half of September 2026 ENA went nowhere in particular: it closed September 13 at $0.1361, below where it had started the month, and on the 15th it touched a low of $0.1355.

Then the climb came in two clearly separate legs. The first peaked on September 19, a 21.4% jump to $0.2043 on about $98 million of volume, followed by a $0.2307 high the next day. For four sessions the price then held a band between roughly $0.198 and $0.229, digesting the move without giving it back. The second leg started on September 25: up 19.3% to $0.268 on $122.7 million of volume, the heaviest of the period, and on the 27th a high of $0.2946 — more than double the low of twelve days earlier.

From that peak ENA pulled back to $0.2433 on September 29, about 17% lower, before bouncing 6.6% on the 30th on more than $100 million of volume and closing the month at $0.265 — up 77% for September and roughly 266% for the quarter. On this hourly chart the staircase structure is easy to see: push, pause, push. It is what separates a healthy trend from a single spike, and each pause held above the base of the one before it.
