Celestia's Evening Breakout: TIA +27% to Its Highest Close Since January (October 2026)
Celestia's TIA token spent most of October 10, 2026 below $0.50, then broke out in the US afternoon and evening, closing up 27% and reaching $0.6333 early on October 11. Relive a breakout that built hour by hour.
Celestia is a blockchain designed for one job: making transaction data available cheaply for rollups and other networks built on top of it. Its TIA token fell heavily through 2025 and most of 2026, and since late September it had been stuck between about $0.42 and $0.53, repeatedly failing to hold above $0.50.
For the first fourteen hours of October 10, nothing changed. TIA traded between $0.471 and $0.500, mostly on less than $300,000 an hour. The first sign came at 14:00 UTC, when it rose 2.5% to $0.4975, and at 15:00 UTC it gained 3.2% on $1.44 million, breaking above $0.50 and reaching $0.5195. It then held above $0.50 for the next two hours, which it hadn't managed in previous attempts.
The main leg started at 18:00 UTC: +6.9% to $0.5442 on $2.0 million, followed by +4.7% at 19:00 UTC on $3.1 million and a high of $0.5857 at 20:00 UTC. After a brief pause, the 22:00 and 23:00 UTC hours pushed it to $0.6129, and TIA closed the day at $0.6018, up 27.26% on $20.3 million of volume — its highest close since January 13.
The replay ends with the first test. In the 01:00 UTC hour on October 11, TIA reached $0.6333, its highest price since December 2025, then fell back to $0.5834 in the next hour before steadying around $0.60-$0.61. Notice how the breakout began with a quiet move above a level that had capped the price for weeks, and how the volume grew only after that level held. Breakouts that build this way tend to be more reliable than ones that start with a single huge candle.
