Blur is the token of an NFT marketplace that grew quickly in 2023 by rewarding active traders. By October 2026 it had been in a long decline, and it closed at $0.01916 on October 11.
On October 12 it fell 27.87% to $0.01382. Most of the damage came in a single hour: at 20:00 UTC, BLUR dropped 15.6%, from $0.0180 to $0.0152, on $2.4 million of volume. The selling continued at 22:00 UTC with another 5.2% loss.
October 13 added a slower leg down. BLUR lost 6.1% in the 06:00 UTC hour and drifted lower for most of the day, closing at $0.01188, down 14.04%, on 13 times its average daily volume. That was its lowest daily close in the Binance price history available to us, back to early 2024, and a two-day loss of 38%. Early on October 14 it traded near $0.0112.
The replay shows the difference between a capitulation candle and a slow bleed. Heavy volume on the first big drop can mark exhaustion, but here it was followed by more selling rather than a bounce. Watch whether any hour on October 13 gave a reason to expect a floor — and how a trader buying the first drop would have fared.
