Starknet Has More Than Doubled in Three Days, and the Layer-2 Rally Is Spreading

STRK rose another 41% on October 10, to its highest close since December 2025, and touched $0.1239 early on October 11. Celestia's TIA gained 27% to its best close since January, while bitcoin had its quietest day in a week.

Starknet's rally didn't slow down for the weekend. After gaining 13% on Thursday and 32% on Friday, STRK rose another 41.23% on Saturday, October 10, closing at $0.10324 on $77.7 million of volume, about seven times its 30-day average. It was the token's highest close since December 14, 2025. From Thursday's low of $0.04797, it had more than doubled.

Most of Saturday's gain came during US hours. The 14:00 UTC hour added 15.3% on $8.5 million of volume, the 15:00 UTC hour another 6.9% on $11.6 million — the busiest hour of the day — and the 18:00 UTC hour 8.3%, taking STRK above $0.10 for the first time since mid-December. The run extended into Sunday morning: STRK jumped 14.4% in the 01:00 UTC hour and reached $0.12389 in the 02:00 UTC hour, its highest price since early December, before dropping 11.2% in the next hour. It was trading near $0.111 a few hours later.

The rally has been spreading to related tokens. Celestia, whose network provides cheap data storage for rollups — a closely related corner of the market — rose 27.26% on Saturday to $0.6018, its highest close since January 13, and touched $0.6333 early on Sunday. ZKsync's ZK gained 7.73% to its highest close since May, and Optimism's OP 5.13%. Arbitrum, the largest layer-2 token, rose only 3.78% on volume well below average.

Meanwhile, the largest assets hardly moved. Bitcoin rose 0.43% to $82,988, trading in a range of just 0.76% — its narrowest day since October 3, on its lowest volume since then. Ether gained 0.76%. When a theme rallies this hard while the market leaders are still, the moves are being driven by money moving between small tokens rather than new money coming into crypto. That doesn't mean the rally has to end, but it does mean it depends on traders continuing to chase it. Our new guide explains what layer-2 networks are and why their tokens have struggled for most of the past two years.
